It’s almost time to say ‘bonjour’, or rather, ‘ciao’ to Emily In Paris season five.
Our favourite Marketing marvel is headed to Rome to open a new branch of Agence Grateau, but it’s not the only major shake up in Emily’s life. If the first trailers are anything to go by, she’s not just leaving the city of love behind but the man who once held her heart, Gabriel, too.

What Time Does Emily In Paris Season 5 Come Out In Australia?
There’s not long to wait now, Emily In Paris returns with season five on December 18th. As with many of Netflix’s series, it’s expected that all episodes will drop at 12 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) which will be 6pm AEDT in NSW and VIC, 5pm AEST in QLD and 3pm AWST for those in WA. Emily In Paris Season Four Recap
At the end of season four Emily was facing a major crossroads in her career and love life. Offered the chance to run the new branch of Agence Grateau in Rome, she packs her bags and officially says ‘au revoir’ to Paris. The move deepens her blossoming romance with Marcello, the charismatic Italian fashion heir, seemingly spelling the end of her four-season long will-they-won’t-they romance with Gabriel.
Back in Paris, Gabriel finally achieves his long-dreamed-of Michelin star and, in the wake of this milestone, realises he still wants to share his life with Emily. The finale closes on a dramatic cliffhanger: Emily arrives at her new Rome apartment ready for a fresh start opening the door to Marcello at the same time we see Gabriel at the door to Emily’s old apartment in Paris.
