Taylor Swift’s long-awaited Eras Tour documentary series, The End Of An Era, is finalley here, but we’re not getting every episode at once.
The six-part series, which chronicles the record-breaking global tour, will begin streaming on Disney+ this Friday, December 12, offering fans an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at the production that dominated pop culture from March 2023 through December 2024.
Alongside the docuseries, a full concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show, will be available to stream which showcases The Tortured Poets Department set in full on the last performance of the Eras tour.
From rehearsals and costume changes to life on the road, the docuseries charts the inner workings of Swift’s most ambitious tour to date. Below, everything you need to know ahead of its release.
When Do New Episodes Of Taylor Swift’s Documentary Come Out?
Swift’s docuseries, The End Of An Era, premieres in Australia on Disney+ on December 12, with two episodes released weekly through to the finale on December 26. New episodes drop on Disney+ at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, which translates to 7pm AEDT in New South Wales and Victoria, 6pm in Queensland and 4pm in Perth.

Alongside the docuseries, Disney+ will also debut Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show on December 12 which is also expected to drop at the same time of 7pm AEDT. The concert film captures Swift’s final Eras Tour performance at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8, 2024, featuring the full set from The Tortured Poets Department, which she released in April 2024.
Is There A Trailer For The Docuseries?
Yes. The official trailer dropped last month, offering an emotional first glimpse at what’s to come. It opens with Swift being wheeled through the stadium in her now-infamous cleaning cart as she reflects in voiceover, “I am very aware of mysterious forces at play that I will never have any control of.”
She continues, “I wanted to over-serve the fans in terms of the amount of songs they were going to hear and how far I was going to push myself.”

Will Travis Kelce Make An Appearance?
Yes. Swift’s fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce, is set to appear in the docuseries. In the official trailer, Swift’s mother Andrea is heard saying, “Travis Kelce — he brings a lot of happiness,” alongside brief glimpses of the couple cheering each other on.
Also featured in the trailer are several of Swift’s close collaborators and tour companions, including Ed Sheeran, Sabrina Carpenter, who opened for Swift on select tour dates, and Florence Welch.
When Did Taylor Swift Announce The Project?
Swift revealed both the docuseries and the final concert film during an October appearance on Good Morning America. She later shared the news on Instagram, writing, “It was the End of an Era and we knew it.”
“We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives,” she added. “So we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”
