Last night at the ARIAs, Abbie Chatfield and Adam Hyde, better known by his musical alias Keli Holiday, stepped out in full loved-up mode.
Hyde, who opened the ceremony with a performance of his viral hit Dancing2, later returned to the stage to collect the ARIA Award for Best Video alongside director Ryan Sauer.
During his acceptance speech, the Peking Duk musician took a moment to acknowledge the person who inspired the track, offering a touching tribute to Chatfield.
“I really want to thank Abbie, my beautiful Abbie, because without her, this song would not exist at all.” he said on stage.
Chatfield, the voice behind the beloved It’s A Lot podcast and former host of F-Boy Island, has long been admired for her honesty and unfiltered humour.
She first became a household name as the runner-up on The Bachelor Australia’s seventh season, before winning I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2021 and cementing her place in Australia’s cultural landscape.
In 2024, Chatfield officially confirmed her romance with Hyde on It’s A Lot.
“Okay, guys, here’s Adam, my boyfriend. I think you all know this by now,” Chatfield began the episode.
“We’re so in love, and we love talking about it.”
Here’s everything you need to know about how this couple came together.
Abbie Chatfield And Adam Hyde’s Relationship Timeline
2022: Abbie And Adam Meet
The pair revealed on Chatfield’s It’s A Lot podcast that they first crossed paths in 2022, when she interviewed Peking Duk on her radio show.
Despite the instant spark, they didn’t officially begin dating until nearly a year later.
“We’d see each other and we’d make out and we’d not talk afterwards,” Chatfield said on It’s A Lot.
Abbie and her ex partner, Konrad Bien-Stephens, ended their relationship in August 2022, with Chatfield confirming the news the following month.
She shared that they had been separated for some time, adding that the split wasn’t dramatic and that they “just weren’t right for each other.”

2022: Abbie And Adam Go On Their First Date
At the end of 2022, Abbie reached out to Adam after he returned from Los Angeles, and the two met up at a pub while navigating their respective breakups. They were so nervous, in fact, that they invited a mutual friend to act as a “buffer.”
The night soon unfolded into dinner, tequila shots and, as Abbie has shared, they “skipped home holding hands.”
The pair still debate exactly where their first kiss took place, but agree on one thing: it definitely happened.
2023: The Pair Drifted
Abbie also revealed on It’s A Lot that the pair didn’t sleep together that night because she had her period, wanted to learn how to play the guitar and was “extremely nervous,” so they ended up just “hanging out.”
After that, the two drifted apart for a while, with situationships and busy schedules getting in the way.

2023: Abbie Goes To Adam’s Brisbane Gig
A few months later Abbie attended one of Adam’s shows in Brisbane, a moment that distinctly shifted the energy between them.
After the gig, Adam told her, “I was really excited to see you,” a sentiment that marked a turning point in their connection. Reflecting on their time together in Queensland, he added, “That time in Brisbane, for me at least, it felt like I could really dive in.”
From there, their bond deepened quickly. As they spoke every day, Abbie believes they “fell in love on the phone,” forming their relationship through honest, meaningful conversations.

2024: They Officially Start Dating
After years of slow-burn build-up, Abbie wrote Adam a five-page letter, telling him how profoundly he had changed her life for the better and how deeply she loved him.
Soon after receiving it, the pair officially began dating with Adam telling her, “I want to be your boyfriend.”
Abbie later revealed she was the first to say “I love you,” despite being determined not to be the one to say it first.

2025: Present Day
Since getting together, the pair have navigated challenges and celebrated major milestones side by side.
They’ve moved in together, supported each other through health hurdles — including Adam’s skin cancer diagnosis — and continued to build a deeply connected partnership.
They’ve also begun discussing what their future might look like, including the possibility of marriage.
“I want to marry you,” Abbie said on her podcast.
“I want to marry you too,” Adam replied.
The couple have even talked openly about having children one day, recognising that it’s something they want together — just not yet.
“If there’s anyone I’m having kids with, it’s you for sure and me and you have spoken a lot about it,” Adam said.
“I don’t want them [kids] for at least five years,” Abbie confirmed.
