Who Is In The Cast Of Wicked For Good?

The star-studded cast of Wicked For Good returns, led by Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the formidable Wicked Witch of the West, and Ariana Grande as the bubbly yet determined Glinda. Jonathan Bailey reprises his role as the charming Prince Fiyero, while Michelle Yeoh returns as the scheming Madame Morrible.

The sequel also brings back Marissa Bode as Nessarose Thropp, Ethan Slater as Boq Woodsman, Bowen Yang as Pfannee, and Bronwyn James as ShenShen.

Fans will also get their first glimpses of Dorothy Gale, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion, rounding out a mix of familiar faces and beloved characters that promise magic, mischief, and plenty of surprises in the Land of Oz.

Now that Domingo is confirmed as the voice for Lion, you may be wondering who is behind the others in Dorothy’s gang. But, be warned there are spoilers ahead.

For those familiar with the story, it’s no surprise to learn that Prince Fiyero becomes our beloved Scarecrow. With that in mind it’s likely Bailey will continue to voice the character as his story progresses. Another beloved character also undergoes a transformation to become the Tin Man, and that Munchkin is kind-hearted Boq.

What Happens In Wicked For Good?

Oz just got a lot more complicated. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande return as Elphaba and Glinda, but this time, friendship is on thin ice. Gone are the days of pink flowers and easy camaraderie – the final trailer teases a showdown that’s equal parts magical duel and personal vendetta. Glinda’s wand clashes against Elphaba’s broomstick on the yellow brick road in a scene that’s already got fans buzzing online.

“I’m a public figure now, people expect me to…” Glinda begins, only for Elphaba’s sarcastic comeback – “Fly?” – to cut her off.

Musical numbers like Glinda’s “Thank Goodness” and Elphaba’s “No Good Deed” match the tension, while Elphaba and Fiyero’s “As Long as You’re Mine” brings romance into the mix.

Will Dorothy Be In Wicked For Good?

While we did catch a glimpse of Dorothy and her motley crew of friend in the first trailer for Wicked For Good, there’s no indication of whether we’ll see more than these rare glimpses.

In the stage show, Dorothy is not seen but only heard with a voice over. The film may chose to follow suit by only showing certain angles, notably her blue check dress and ruby slippers, rather than give her character a face and focus.

When Does Wicked 2 Come Out In Australia?

Wicked For Good will be in Australian cinemas on November 21, 2025. The trailer also hints at the arrival of Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion, promising a second act that’s as chaotic as it is colourful.

Directed again by Jon M. Chu, with a screenplay by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, Wicked For Good promises more magic, music, and mayhem in Oz. Elphaba fights for the freedom of the silenced Animals, while Glinda juggles fame, friendship, and her responsibilities as the symbol of Good. The final trailer proves the story of Oz is far from over – and fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
