One of the global pop star’s most anticipated albums, The Life Of A Showgirl is expected to make a sharp pivot from the confessional melancholy of her last work, The Tortured Poets Department.

During her appearance on fiance, Travis’ Kelce’s New Heights podcast, she revealed this album is “everything that was going on behind the curtain” during the Eras Tour.
“It feels energetically how my life has felt. This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life on this tour,” she revealed.
Does that mean we could get a love song or two about Travis? We hope so.
There’s also production credits from longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, plus a headline-making feature from Sabrina Carpenter but it’s the tracklist that’s the biggest clue on what’s to come.
The tracklist and song names like ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’ and ‘Ruin The Friendship’ have had fans fiercely speculating – the latter many suspect may have to do with Taylor’s famous friendship with Blake Lively.
We’ll have to wait till October 3 to find out if they’re right.
