A glance at Tisdale’s Instagram suggests this is no ordinary playdate circle. The group is widely believed to include Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor, who have all been pictured together on multiple occasions, including a mums’ weekend away in August 2022, which Trainor captioned, “I have mom friends and I love them.”

She recalls being left out of a gathering organised while she was there, adding, “I still don’t get why I wasn’t at the girl hang that they all planned at my daughter’s birthday.” Eventually, the pattern became clear. “This group had a pattern of leaving someone out. And that someone had become me.”

Ashley continued, “All of a sudden, I was in high school again, feeling totally lost as to what I was doing ‘wrong’ to be left out.”

While Tisdale never named names, readers were quick to speculate. Fans noticed that she unfollowed Duff and Moore on Instagram around the same time. Tisdale and her representatives have since claimed that the essay refers to a different group of friends entirely, though many remain unconvinced.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Hilary Duff’s husband, Grammy-winning musician Matthew Koma, shared a mock cover of The Cut with his face photoshopped over Ashley’s, a pointed nod to the essay she had written.

Koma captioned the Instagram story, “When you’re the most self obsessed tone deaf person on Earth, other mums tend to shift focus to their actual toddlers.”

For now, it appears the mum-group fallout is far from over.

The Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson baby news comes just months after the pair were first snapped enjoying some time in the sun on a Palm Beach weekend getaway.

Although she might appear to be a departure from Davidson’s usual type, Hewitt is still very much a part of the celebrity universe. Australian actress Rachael Carpani, best known for her role on iconic drama McLeod’s Daughter’s, has sadly died aged 45.

On Monday, December 15th, the heartbreaking news came via her sister Georgia on Instagram.

“It is with great sadness that Tony and Gael Carpani announce that their beautiful daughter, beloved Australian actress Rachael Carpani, unexpectedly but peacefully passed away after a long battle with chronic illness, in the early hours of Sunday 7th December,” the post read.

No further details around the sad passing were shared, however Carpani’s family asked for privacy in their time of grief.

“The family requests privacy at this very difficult time and will be making no further statements.”

Carpani played Jodi Fountain on the Australian drama, McLeod’s Daughters from 2001 to 2009, earning herself nominations for both a Silver and Gold Logie at the 2007 TV WEEK Logie Awards. She appeared in local shows such as 800 Words, All Saints and Home & Away as well as international hits such as N.C.I.S.: Los Angeles.

Her McLeod’s co-star, Bridie Carter who played Tess McLeod, took to Instagram in the wake of the news to share her “love and respect” for her friend.

“In love and respect, for our beautiful Rach, in prayer and with the deepest sorrow and profound sympathy for the Carpani family,” she wrote. 

“Rest In Peace our beautiful girl….the “baby” of our MD family. We love you, we cherish you.”

“This is the wrong order of things. We are better people for having the privilege of sharing time with you.” 

Carter’s post was immediately awash with messages of condolences and shared sadness over the passing.

“In shock and so sorry for this big loss. I loved MD so much and always hoped it will return with all of you in at least a movie or so. I feel deeply for you @bridiecarter1 and for her beautiful family,” one fan wrote.

Another adding: “Heartbroken to hear of the loss of Rachel. Rach bought so much light and love to the screen. Thinking of you all at this awful time.”

The first piece of evidence submitted to the jury (it’s us, we’re the jury), was Chalamet’s attendance of rapper fakemink’s London show earlier this year. Those familiar with EsDeeKid’s songs will already know fakemink appears on his TikTok-viral song, ‘LV Sandals’. Coincidence?

Then, there’s the resemblance of both Chalamet and EsDeeKid’s eyes (both green and with a distinct curve on one eyebrow, one TikToker notes). And, the fact both have been spotted wearing an identical black scarf plastered with white skulls on multiple occasions.

Another notable ‘clues’ or hints fans have pointed out include the double ‘e’ in both their names – Timothee and EsDeeKid – and the fact the actor would be well-equipped to pull off a Scouse accent to help hide his true identity.

Chalamet’s high-school aspirations to become a rapper are also well-documented in widely-shared clips from his teen years performing as “Timmy Tim.”

And, as Freeman put it, an anonymous alter-ego would prove the perfect route for Chalamet to pursue that career avenue without any impact on his pristine Hollywood star.

“The actor-to-musician crossover is very hard to do. The only person who really managed it was Jamie Foxx, and even then, people thought he was doing a Ray Charles impersonation,” she says.

The feud between rappers Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson and Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs is long and well-documented  – partly in thanks to Jackson’s often amusing antics throughout the years. With the release of the 50 Cent-produced documentary on Diddy, The Reckoning, interest and commentary (again, led by Jackson) on the rift is renewed.

Last week, the ‘Candy Shop’ rapper gave an exclusive interview with ABC News in the U.S. about the new doco and fans were quick to point out that it was a potentially strategic choice.

“50 Cent agreed to do an interview with ABC news station because it’s one of the few stations they’re allowed to watch in prison,” one comment claimed.

Turns out, they were right with 50 Cent commenting on the post to write: “I thought about it – what’s wrong with that?”

However, in the ABC interview, Jackson explained that his actions aren’t because of a “beef” with Diddy, rather exposing his behaviour. 

“What they consider pre-existing beef for 20 years is me being uncomfortable with him suggesting that he takes me shopping,” Jackson explained, “It’s not personal.”

“I think it’s important to also let people know that the show is not completely the perspectives of people that did not like Sean,” director Alex Stapleton added, “We weren’t trying to just get the highlights, the salacious details. You know that the real goal was to storytell.”

A week before Sean ‘P Diddy‘ Combs was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, a novel purported to be the late Kim Porter’s memoir titled Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey For Justice, From The Other Side, began making its way up the Amazon Best Sellers list.

As the federal trial for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs began and its first week of testimonies – including that of Combs’ other ex, Cassie Ventura – were heard details from the alleged memoir once again made headlines.

The 59-page book, published under Kimberly A. Porter’s name along with “Jamal T Millwood” – a pseudonym – claims to be collated from Porter’s diaries, which were allegedly saved on a flash drive and shared with friends before her death, with the opening page reading: “Kim Porter’s final wishes was for this Memoir/Diary to be made public…”

The ‘memoir’ details alleged sexual encounters between Diddy and other celebrities, as well as graphic and disturbing accounts of Kim’s own experiences.

It’s since been revealed that the author behind the pseudonym is Chris Todd (real name Todd Christopher Guzze), who – in an interview with Rolling Stone – admitted he was unable to provide proof of the content’s legitimacy. Though he “believes it to be true,” the files he allegedly received from two “music industry” sources have been immediately debunked by Kim’s four children, three of which she shared with media mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

In a joint statement released to Instagram by Kim’s four children, Christian, 26, and Jessie and D’Lila, 17-year-old twins, whose father is Sean Combs, along with Quincy Brown, Porter’s eldest son with AI B. Sure! the children said they felt compelled to “speak out” after seeing “so many hurtful and false rumours circulating” about their parents.

The post went on to say: “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend. Nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

The controversy came to light at a time when more details about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his inner circle were starting to come to light, subsequently causing people to rethink public perception of Justin Bieber, and even question the extent of Diddy’s relationship with Usher.

Separately, 50 Cent confirmed he’ll be producing a docuseries for Netflix about the allegations against Diddy.

When 50 Cent first announced the documentary in December 2023, Combs was facing a total of four civil suits, including the first filed by Cassie Ventura.
