Lando Norris held his nerve in a tense Abu Dhabi finale on Sunday, December 7, to clinch his first Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship, finishing third behind race winner Max Verstappen and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
Waiting trackside was one of his most vocal supporters, Portuguese model and actress Margarida Corceiro. Overwhelmed with emotion after the chequered flag, Norris broke down in tears in his cockpit before leaping from the car to celebrate.
Moments later, he was photographed in an emotional embrace with Corceiro, who was also visibly crying, before joining his family for post-race photos.
The 23-year-old model, widely known as “Magui”, has been linked to Norris since 2023, though both have repeatedly played down their relationship.
On this night, however, their very public display left little room for doubt. With Norris now crowned world champion, attention has naturally shifted to the woman celebrating beside him.

Who Is Margarida Corceiro?
Margarida Corceiro is a Portuguese model, actress, business owner and social media influencer. Born on October 26, 2002, she began modelling at just 10 years old and is signed to Portugal’s Central Models agency. She has built a successful acting career across Portuguese television and film, with credits including Morangos com Açúcar, Punto Nemo and Hotel Amor.
She is also an entrepreneur, having co-founded the swimwear brand Missus with her cousin, Marta Matia. Beyond the screen, Corceiro commands a major digital following, with more than two million followers on Instagram.
How Long Have Lando Norris & Margarida Corceiro Been Together?
Lando Norris and Margarida Corceiro were first linked in May 2023, with their relationship quietly unfolding over the following year. The pair dated until around August 2024, marking an initial on-and-off relationship that spanned roughly 15 months.
They later parted ways, with Norris confirming in late 2024 that he was single. But the split proved short-lived. By May 2025, Corceiro was once again a familiar presence at Formula 1 circuits, cheering Norris on at the Monaco Grand Prix. The pair were later spotted holidaying together in Ibiza that August, before Norris publicly confirmed their reunion in September 2025.
Speaking to British Vogue, Norris reflected on their bond:
“We met a few years ago, but we were never really together….until more recently. She’s someone I can very much be myself with. Very down to earth and she lives quite a crazy life as well. It’s nice when we can both just [rent] a boat for the day or go home together and chill.”
When they’re not at the track, their shared guilty pleasure is The Summer I Turned Pretty which Corceiro introduced him to.
Norris has also been candid about navigating public scrutiny. “I don’t think anyone can look at a bad comment from someone and move on like nothing’s ever happened,” he said. “But [Margarida is] quite wise to all of it… It affects me. A lot less than it did. I pay a lot less attention to it now.”
