Kris Jenner has never been one to do things by halves, and her 70th birthday proved no exception. On Saturday evening, the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty marked her milestone with a black-tie celebration that could have doubled as a film premiere.
The affair unfolded at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $165 million Beverly Hills residence, a setting that felt almost theatrical in scale.
Eschewing their usual yacht for the evening, the power couple opened their palatial home for a James Bond-inspired soirée orchestrated by Jenner’s long-time event architect, Mindy Weiss.
According to People, the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan was in attendance, joined by Travis Barker, Corey Gamble, Scott Disick and Tristan Thompson.
But the celebration extended far beyond Calabasas. Oprah Winfrey, Adele, Mariah Carey, Gayle King, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, Miranda Kerr, Evan Spiegel, Snoop Dogg, Vin Diesel, Vanessa Bryant, Selma Blair and Paris and Nicky Hilton all arrived dressed to the nines.

Even Silicon Valley’s elite, including Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, made the cut.
Then came a royal cameo. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned the night into an elegant date, with Meghan opting for a sleek black long-sleeve top and floor-length skirt punctuated by a daring slit.
Her crystal earrings, bowed stilettos and velvet clutch perfectly matched Harry’s velvet tuxedo jacket, complete with a red poppy on his lapel in honour of Remembrance Day.
Bruno Mars performed a private set that reportedly prompted a few noise complaints from nearby neighbours, according to Page Six. It is not every night that “Uptown Funk” echoes live across Beverly Hills.
Police were reportedly called to the property twice throughout the night. The first visit came after neighbours lodged noise complaints, prompting officers to speak with security and issue a formal warning about the volume of the festivities.
But the evening’s drama didn’t end there. Later, police returned after discovering that towering decorative hedges had been installed along the street to conceal the party from view and manage the flow of traffic.
The lush barricades, apparently erected without the proper permits, were swiftly ordered to be dismantled, just as a fleet of chauffeured luxury cars began to arrive for departure.
The evening was unfortunately not filmed for The Kardashians, but it was peak Kris Jenner: polished, over-the-top and meticulously orchestrated.
