The Kardashians season seven is here and if the trailer is any indication of what’s to come, the latest installment won’t be short on drama. The biggest (so far) it seems, is the revelation that someone close to Kim Kardashian allegedly put a hit out on her.
While the terrifying reality of fame has often seen A-listers faced with stalkers and death threats, it’s the reveal that the reported attempt on Kim’s life is allegedly from someone close to her that has shocked many.
In the first trailer for the new season, Kim, 44, is seen in tears as she reveals “someone close to her” had “put a hit out” on her life.
“I got a call from investigators,” she began in a piece-to-camera.
“Someone extremely close to me put a hit out on my life.”
As the footage cuts away to a compilation of dramatic moments including a police car blaring its sirens, we hear Kim add: “I am scared out of my mind.”
So, Who Tried To Put A Hit Out On Kim Kardashian?
At present, there are no further details that have been made public about the incident. So, fans will have to tune in to learn exactly what led to this dramatic turn of events.
It’s worth noting that season seven of The Kardashians was filmed in recent months, meaning this revelation also took place during that period.
Following the trailer’s release, a tweet from Kanye West dating back to February 2022 began recirculating online where he hit out at Kim for a similar accusation.
“YESTERDAY KIM ACCUSED ME OF PUTTING A HIT OUT ON HER,” West wrote at the time.
“SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT I BEG TO GO TO MY DAUGHTERS PARTY AND IM ACCUSED OF BEING ON DRUGS THEN I GO PLAY WITH MY SON AND I TAKE MY AKIRA GRAPHIC NOVELS AND IM ACCUSED OF STEALING.”
The rapper went on to add: “THESE IDEAS CAN ACTUALLY GET SOMEONE LOCKED UP.”
The timing of the incidents are years apart so there is nothing to suggest that the rapper, who Kim shares four kids with, had anything to do with the accusations.
We may only get answers as this new season unfolds on Disney+ from October 23.
