King Kylie is back. And no, you havne’t travelled back to 2016. The alter ego of Kylie Jenner has been revived as the beauty mogul finally turns her focus to music by releasing her first ever song: ‘Fourth Strike’.
For the uninitiated or those who just need a refresher some 10-years later, in 2016, Kylie fronted a campaign promoting her new line of lip glosses for Kylie Cosmetics. The cinematic ad cast her as a getaway driver, waiting outside while her crew carried out a heist, all set to the pulsing pop track ‘3 Strikes’.
The song came from a then-unknown group called Terror Jr, whose mysterious debut instantly sparked online speculation with fans convinced Jenner was secretly part of the band.
While Jenner publicly denied any involvement, the association lingered, intertwining her early “King Kylie” persona with the elusive pop collective, who were later revealed to include members of The Cataracs.
Now, she’s tapped the musical group once again to collaborate on a new song.

‘Fourth Strike’ marks Kylie Jenner’s first official musical track – not of course including her infamous Rise & Shine clip that previously went viral.
The song name plays off of the track, ‘3 Strikes’, which was used in her 2016 campaign video and led to subsequent music career theories from fans.
The song release appears to be part of a wider PR play (no doubt the genius work of her mom-ager, Kris) as Kylie revives her King Kylie persona tied to her cosmetic brand in the 2010s. It also comes in line with the beauty founder announcing her new beautyline featuring nostalgic liquid lipsticks and eyeshadows.
Terror Jr today is principally a pop duo composed of David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine (formerly of The Cataracs) and Lisa Vitale.
The mysterious pop duo best known for their early link to Kylie Jenner. The group first gained attention in 2016 thanks to the Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss campaign.
