Former Home & Away actress Isabel Lucas is pregnant, expecting her first child at the age of 40.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Lucas shared a carousel of images of her posing beachside and in nature, occasionally showing off her growing baby bump. In the lead photo, Lucas appears wistful as she poses in a white linen dress, opened to illustrate her exciting pregnancy news.
The caption was similarly poetic, with Lucas writing: “Sometimes words flow and sometimes the mystery is too vast and all that remains, is to feel. A new forever exists here. Among petals of silent wonder and pure love. Together we hold this miracle with tender heartful hands.”
The last slide in the announcement is a photo of Isabel and her partner, American surfer Cyrus Sutton.
It’s not known exactly how long Lucas and Sutton have been an item, with the pair only going Instagram official in August 2025. Sutton spent his early career as a professional surfer, before pivoting to his passion of filmmaking. He has since made several documentaries about the international surfing community and their major personalities.
Lucas, who broke into Hollywood with a role in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, welcomed congratulatory messages on her pregnancy announcement post from celebrity peers. Among them, fellow Australian actress Teresa Palmer expressed excitement: “Can’t wait to see you as a mother and for these little babies to be together. We love you guys xxx.”
Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto and Twilight star Kellan Lutz also sent their congratulations to their ‘Izzy’. “Oh Izzy!! This made my heart so happy. Sending you and your sweet baby so much mad love,” Pinto wrote. Meanwhile, Lutz added: “Congrats Izzy!”
Isabel rose to fame in Australia as Tasha Andrews on Home & Away. She left the series in 2006 to pursue a career in Hollywood. She formerly dated her Home & Away screen partner, Chris Hemsworth, Entourage actor Adrian Grenier, and musician Angus Stone.
