Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have officially become a family of five, with the superstar couple welcoming their third child together.
The baby girl, named Rocki Irish Mayers, was born on September 13 in Los Angeles.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer announced the arrival on Instagram, a post that began amassing millions of likes in a matter of minutes after being posted (and counting).
The caption to the post was short and sweet, with Rihanna writing: “Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025 🎀”
Rocki joins big brothers RZA, 3, and Riot Rose, 2, who were both born just a year apart.
Fans first began speculating about Rihanna’s pregnancy earlier this year. And, when she attended the Met Gala, her unmistakable baby bump sparked headlines across the globe.
Stepping out in front of the Carlyle Hotel, she donned a bold Miu Miu crop top paired with a matching skirt, letting her baby bump take center stage. Moments later, she wowed on the red carpet in a sharp suit-inspired dress by Marc Jacobs – complete with pinstripe detailing, a boned corset and a polka dot cravat.
A$AP Rocky, co-chair at the Gala, confirmed the pregnancy with joyful thumbs up moments at the event and cheekily commented backstage that he hoped tonight’s outfit “wouldn’t really cover her baby hump.”
As for mum and dad, wel, the pair were longtime friends before their relationship turned romantic in late 2020, with A$AP confirming the news in a 2021 GQ interview where he called Rihanna “the love of my life.”
By early 2022, the couple were expecting their first child together, with Rihanna debuting her baby bump during a now-iconic New York street photo shoot in a vintage pink Chanel coat and jewelled body chain. The move is now becoming a signature for the star when it comes to her pregnancy announcements.
