Even if you don’t subscribe to her content, chances are you’ve come across Bonnie Blue in the wilds of the internet, whether it be TikTok, Reddit, or via one of the many headlines she’s made over the past year.

Known for her unapologetic personality, viral content, and vocal sex work advocacy, Bonnie Blue is one of the most recognisable – and perhaps divise – adult content creators operating today. And for global audiences, she’s becoming an increasingly prominent voice when it comes to conversations around societal taboos and the online adult industry in both legal and cultural terms.

But her rise in popularity hasn’t come without its fair share of public scrutiny. Making a name for herself by travelling around the world to create content with 18 and 19-year-old men at university hotspots and events like Schoolies, her methods have raised concerns around exploitation and consent.

Despite facing varying waves of criticism, she remains unapologetic about her controversial career trajectory, viewing it as a source of empowerment, pleasure and most importantly, autonomy.

So, who exactly is Bonnie Blue? Where is she from? And why does she have her own documentary?

Who Is Bonnie Blue?

Bonnie Blue is the professional stage name of Tia Billinger, the 26-year-old British adult content creator from Nottinghamshire.

Prior to entering the adult industry she was working in recruitment when an ex-boyfriend convinced her to follow her passion. “He used to see how unhappy I was in my old job,” she said in a 2024 episode of Lottie Moss’ podcast, Dream On. “Going to an office, working for someone else. He was like, do it… you’re beautiful. And if you don’t enjoy it… you can stop.”

When recalling about her early days, she credits “camming” for providing her with the confidence to transition to other platforms. “Having hundreds of people coming on a website, saying, ‘oh, you’re beautiful’ or like wanting to see more videos of me. So yeah, I was like – you know what, I’ll try OnlyFans.”

While she’s best known for her work on OnlyFans where, until recently having her account banned, she shared explicit content directly with paying subscribers, her influence now extends well beyond the platform.

Bonnie is part of a new wave of adult creators who merge sex work with influencer-style brand building, speaking openly about the stigma, economics, and politics of their chosen career. And increasingly, making headlines for the controversial methods used to create said content.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Blue said, “As an adult content creator I want to educate late teens on how to have fun, stay safe and enjoy a healthy sex life without worrying about judgment and shame the older generation like to push about sex.”

What Kind Of Content Does She Create?

Bonnie Blue has carved out a niche for herself by targeting “barely legal” boys to create content with her – offering her services for free in exchange for their consent to be filmed.

In an episode of the Dream On podcast, Bonnie revealed she’d slept with “158 teens in two weeks” before explaining that she purposely targeted ‘Freshers’ (the UK equivalent of first-year students entering University for the first time). “I share my location online. I was like ‘This is where I’m gonna be, let me pleasure you’ and there was a massive queue. People were waiting for over eight hours.”

While everyone involved in her content is over the age of 18, it hasn’t stopped the backlash levelled at her. Many have expressed their outrage online questioning the fact that these videos will live on the internet forever, as well as the general morality of targeting teenagers.

Most recently, the controversial approach to targeting teens drew the ire of Australia’s immigration department, when news of her plans to attend 2024’s Schoolies event in Queensland with fellow OnlyFans creator, Annie Knight, made headlines. The move sparked outrage online and a petition calling for the cancellation of her visa launched on Change.org.

Shortly afterwards, immigration followed through on the grounds of allegations that Blue intended to contravene her 12-month visa by working in Australia.

In response to the discourse, Bonnie Blue has been explicit in her intention, insisting: “I provide a safe, judgement-free environment with security-scanned ID and a breathalyser test. And [participants] are doing something good for society by putting an educational video out there. What part of that is dangerous?”

What Was Bonnie Blue’s 1000 Men Challenge?

Aside from the “barely legal” angle, Bonnie Blue is part of the growing cohort of creators who take part in stunt-style “challenges.”

One such viral event took place on January 12, 2025, when she took to X to claim she’d slept with over 1000 men. When asked how she felt about the experience in the video she uploaded to the platform, she responded: “I don’t need a wheelchair, like I am fine. Just feels like I’ve had a heavy day in the bedroom.”

She captioned the post: “1057 men in a day! Thanks to all the barely legal, barely breathing and the husbands.”

Videos of masked men, all lined up for a chance to take part in the challenge, flooded the internet in the days following. “I wanted to give back and say thank you [to my subscribers],” she told Cosmopolitan about her motivation behind the stunt. “It was fun! Other people have hobbies — they want to hike or do marathons — for me, I wanted to give and receive pleasure for 24 hours.”

Earlier this year, Bonnie revealed plans to out-do her own record by sleeping with 2000 men. Calling it a “petting zoo,” she was planning to tie herself to a glass box in the name of explicit content, before the “extreme challenge” resulted in an OnlyFans ban.

1000 men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story

Bonnie Blue’s viral stunt is the central focus of a new documentary about the OnlyFans star, but not the only part of her story explored. The film follows Bonnie over a six month period to explore “her polarising business model and the cultural debate it provokes”.

Unsurprisngly, it comes with an R18+ rating and disclaimer for high impact sex scenes and subject matter that some viewers may find distressing. It is available to stream on Stan.

Is Bonnie Blue Still Married?

Bonnie Blue was married to estate agent Ollie Davidson. The pair met when Bonnie was just 15 and went on to marry in February 2022 in a low-key registry office ceremony, before relocating to Australia’s Gold Coast to begin their married life together.

Their relationship, however, was far from smooth sailing. Despite trying for more than a year to start a family, the couple never had children, and by mid-2025 their marriage had broken down, with Bonnie confirming that she and Ollie were in the process of divorce.

“We loved each other, but we weren’t in love,” she told the Daily Mail. “So we separated, but we didn’t make it official. Me doing what I’ve done recently had nothing to do with the relationship breakdown. But, of course, no one will believe me.”
