Sydney’s McRae Bar shimmered under candlelight last week as designer Rebecca Vallance hosted an intimate Nightcap soirée – a glamorous celebration marking the unveiling of her Resort and Holiday 2025 collections and the launch of her third Sydney boutique at Chatswood Chase.
The evening embodied Vallance’s signature polish and playfulness. Lipstick motifs adorned mirrored surfaces, a bespoke cocktail menu mirrored the season’s rich palette, and guests -including Kylah Day, Helen Vestergaard, Bella Salerno, Kathleen Paton, Sylvia Jeffreys, Maria Tedesco and Serena Wyllie – floated through the dimly lit space dressed in Rebecca Vallance. DJ Arianna Sunshine provided a fun soundtrack as champagne flutes clinked.
This season, Vallance’s dual offering – Resort 2025 and Holiday 2025: LUNARISELLE – captures two distinct yet intertwined worlds: the sun-soaked ease of la dolce vita and the transformative allure of the celestial unknown.
Resort 2025 is a love letter to Lake Como – all Riviera romance and golden-hour luminosity. The collection reimagines Italian elegance through fluid silhouettes, unapologetically bold prints, and a palette of deep navy, sunlit yellow, and vivid pinks. Designed for the woman who moves effortlessly from boat deck to ballroom, it embodies the kind of elevated nonchalance that defines high summer.
In contrast, LUNARISELLE, the Holiday 2025 collection, looks skyward. Inspired by the Year of the Snake, it glitters with serpentine diamante motifs – a symbol of reinvention. Think sculpted black dresses, liquid sequins, rich burgundy velvet and metallic accents, reflecting transformation and modern sensuality.
“The Nightcap was designed to celebrate this new chapter for Rebecca Vallance – a reflection of where we are as a brand: confident, glamorous and unapologetically feminine,” said Vallance.
